Comparing the Wisdom of Places: Nigerian Yoruba Proverbs and Colonial American Proverbs of Benjamin Franklin

This lesson was created by Kathy Sundstedt (Dike-New Hartford School District) for students from sixth to eighth grade. Throughout this lesson plan, students will use the proverbs to understand how words and meanings differ due to their place of origin and time period.
